Jim Hrncir RPh and wife Jan founded Las Colinas Pharmacy, Compounding & Wellness in 1984. Recognized as one of the pioneers of modern pharmaceutical compounding, Jim’s 1986 creation of Estradiol Transdermal Gel was the first of its kind in the United States. He is responsible for the formulation of many Bio-Identical Hormone, Dermatological, Nutritional, and Anti-Aging compounds in wide use throughout the United States. Jim was named the 2017 Compounding Pharmacist of the Year by Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) and is a Fellow of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (FAPC). The internationally syndicated Dr. Phil Show featured Jim on several episodes as an expert in Bio-Identical Hormones and Pharmaceutical Compounding. Dr Phil’s Wife, Robin McGraw, promoted Jim’s Anti-Aging Skin Care product, Vitamin C Infusion Cream on separate episodes. In Robin’s book What’s Age Got to Do With It?, Jim contributed the chapter on Hormones and Thyroid (proclaimed by Oprah as her “favorite chapter!”). Dr Phil and Robin recruited Jim to help develop her Anti-Aging skin care line, Revelation, released in November 2016.
OHB Integrative Medicine Assessment and Management Software. Utilizing a team of integrative medicine specialists, Jim spearheaded the development of a software program used by integrative medicine providers and consulting pharmacists to better assess, manage and treat female and male BHRT, thyroid and functional medicine cases. The software also makes recommendations for supplements based on support of medical conditions and drug-induced nutrient depletions. Jim continues to provide extensive clinical patient consultations utilizing the software.
Optimum Therapeutic Solutions (OTS)- professional use supplement line. With nutrition and supplements occupying such an important place in his practice, Jim and his team developed an exclusive line of supplements, employing only the highest quality and research-based formulas. The team also developed a web service that uses algorithmic logic to make supplement recommendations based on support of medical conditions (ICD-10 codes) or drug-induced nutrient depletions. APIs to the web-service are set up for OHB software, OTS e-store, and for pharmacy management software. The line is only available to pharmacists and medical providers, via wholesale or through revenue sharing sales on the OTS e-store.
In demand to train physicians, mid-level medical providers, nurses and pharmacists, Jim provides a 12-contact hour course entitled “Nuts and Bolts Training for Bio-Identical Hormones, Thyroid and Anti-Aging Medicine”. Providers receive intense, real-time, “how to practice” information on BHRT for Males, BHRT for Females, Thyroid, Low Dose Naltrexone, Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency, Ethical Nutritional Supplements, and Principles of Anti-Aging Medicine. Jim is often called upon to lecture at professional conferences on topics such as Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD, Ketamine for Treatment Resistant Depression, Bio-Identical Hormone Assessment and Treatment Plans, and Thyroid Optimization: Assessment and Treatment Plans.
Jim has received extensive continuing education in the areas of Bio-Identical Hormones, Nutrition, Anti-Aging Medicine, Weight Management, Pain Management, Neurotransmitter Management, Natural and Functional Medicine including the use of botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, Detoxification and Purification, homeopathy and lab testing. He has lectured across the country on a variety of topics including Clinical Patient Consulting, BHRT Assessment and Case Management, Low Dose Naltrexone, Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Protocols, and Ketamine for Treatment-Resistant Depression and PTSD.
Jim is a member of Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Age Management Medical Group, Texas Pharmaceutical Association, Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, and the National Association of Community Pharmacists.
Co-Owner, Marketing Director & Event Coordinator
Jan Hrncir and her husband Jim co-founded Las Colinas Pharmacy Compounding & Wellness in 1984, building what has become a nationally recognized leader in integrative and compounding pharmacy.
While attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Jan earned her Bachelor of Science in Education and Music and quickly stood out in the fields of sales and marketing. She worked in radio as a top sales and marketing executive, where she also became an on-air host and created a talk show for working women students at the University. After graduation, Jan and Jim married and moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where she began a successful career in television, radio, and commercial print with one of Dallas’s top talent agencies. She also served as a department head for a major department store.
In 1984, Jan and Jim combined their entrepreneurial drive and vision to establish Las Colinas Pharmacy. Jan built the pharmacy’s first marketing department, spearheading campaigns, outside sales, and community outreach. She also developed Jim’s speaking career and pioneered local public seminars on compounding pharmacy—an initiative that shaped the pharmacy’s reputation for patient education. Over time, Jan added event coordination to her role, guiding professional and community events that continue to connect patients, providers, and the pharmacy team.
Jan and their daughter, Taylor, also own and operate the Gift Shop inside Las Colinas Pharmacy ffering a unique retail experience for visitors. In addition, Jan is an accomplished abstract artist, showcasing her work at JLH Artworks Gallery, located within the pharmacy’s professional center.
Today, Jan leads a talented marketing and provider relations team and contributes to the management of over 50 employees. Most recently, she and Jim collaborated on the design of the new state-of-the-art Las Colinas Pharmacy Compounding & Wellness facility, completed in 2024—a true reflection of their lifelong dedication to innovation, patient care, and community impact.
Co-Owner, Director of Operations
Jonathan is Co-Owner and Director of Operations of Las Colinas Pharmacy. He joined the pharmacy in 2013 as he completed Pharmacy School. He currently serves on the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding Board of Directors, a national pharmacy organization that stands up for patients’ rights and access to compounded medications. He completed his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University School of Pharmacy and is an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, where he received a BS in Biochemistry. Jonathan is trained in Functional Medicine and Integrative Therapy ,including Bio-Identical Hormones, Thyroid, Low Dose Naltrexone, Nutrition, Anti-Aging, Peptide Therapy, Weight Management, Pain Management, Veterinary Therapy, Nutritional Supplements, Detoxification and Purification, and Lab Testing. He is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, Texas Pharmacy Association, Dallas Area Pharmacy Association, and Tarrant County Pharmacy Association, as well as an active member of his church in Keller.
Jonathan grew up in Argyle and enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his wife and two children. He has always had a strong passion for independent compounding pharmacy and has a love for delivering individualized patient care. He strives to create a wonderful work environment for his staff and a Wellness Center for patients to receive caring customer service, quality products, and expert advice and counseling.
Pharmacist
Dennis has been practicing pharmacy for over 40 years. A 1981 graduate of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Dennis joined the staff at Las Colinas Pharmacy in 1998.
Dennis is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and Texas Pharmacy Association.
He received extensive training in the areas of Peptide Therapy, Infectious Disease, Pain Management, Veterinary Medicine, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Weight Management, Osteoporosis Management, Cholesterol Management, Natural Medicine including botanical medicines (herbals) and nutritional supplements.
Dennis completed advanced education in Hormones and Obesity treatment, focusing on the links between obesity, high cholesterol, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other medical disorders. He provides diagnostic testing for common hormonal imbalances that cause weight gain.
Dennis lives in Irving with his wife Jane.
Pharmacist
Karen is a graduate of the University of Texas, where she earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Her diverse background and advanced training encompass oncology, psychiatry, internal medicine, compounding, and cosmetic formulations.
Before joining the Las Colinas Pharmacy team, Karen gained extensive experience in clinical and specialty pharmacy settings. Her expertise has been recognized nationally—she has been featured in USA Today and interviewed by local news stations on a variety of pharmacy-related topics.
Karen actively continues her professional development through educational seminars focused on Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, advanced compounding techniques, and immunizations.
She is a passionate educator and serves as an adjunct faculty member for both Texas Tech University Health Science Center and the University of Texas at Austin. In these roles, she mentors pharmacy students in the areas of compounding, community pharmacy, and integrative medicine.
An active member of several professional organizations—including the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, Texas Pharmacy Association, the Texas Exes, and the Longhorn Foundation—Karen regularly presents seminars on Natural and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement to both patients and healthcare professionals across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Pharmacist
Lexi joined the pharmacy staff in 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Texas, where she received a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2007. She also attended Texas Tech University while completing her pre-pharmacy requirements. During her internship year, Lexi received training in compounding, oncology, and internal medicine.
Lexi is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, the National Community Pharmacists Association, the Texas Exes, and the UT College of Pharmacy Alumni Association. She also enjoys being a preceptor for pharmacy students during their community pharmacy rotations. Lexi has been trained to administer immunizations and other injectable medications. Having completed an extensive postgraduate course in prescription compounding and quality control, Lexi provides valuable input in maintaining Las Colinas Pharmacy’s patient care.
Lexi and her husband, Paul, live in Richardson with their two boys, Caleb and Logan. They enjoy going to the lake, fishing, playing games and sports with friends and neighbors, and serving with their church and in their community.
Pharmacist
Haley joined the Las Colinas Pharmacy team in early 2012. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi “Ole Miss” School of Pharmacy, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Pharmacy in an accelerated program. During her internships, Haley focused on compounding, nutrition, pediatrics, and drug information research. Haley prides herself on paying attention to details and exploring all options to ensure great care for each patient.
After an 8-year career in retail pharmacy, Haley has redirected her career to her initial love in pharmacy- compounding. She is a board-certified preceptor and enjoys teaching interns about community pharmacy and compounding. She has received extensive training in compounding from PCCA and is also certified in immunizations.
Haley is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, Texas Pharmacy Association, Mississippi Pharmacy Association, and maintains licenses in Mississippi, Georgia, and Texas. She is a Life Member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association and an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan!
Pharmacist
Sherin received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Texas, Tyler School of Pharmacy. Sherin has been a member of the Las Colinas Pharmacy team since 2016, when she joined as a pharmacy technician and continued to work for us while she pursued her pharmacy degree.
Sherin is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, Texas Pharmacy Association, and National Community Pharmacists Association.
Sherin has always been passionate about compounding and advancing her knowledge in individualized patient-centered care and functional medicine. Sherin is also trained in various areas of pharmacy, like acute care, internal medicine, ambulatory care, weight loss, and medication therapy management. She is a certified immunizer and has received CORE compounding training from PCCA. She is excited to continue learning the nuances of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and help our patients achieve optimal health.
Sherin lives in Irving with her husband and loves spending her free time traveling around the world with family and friends.
Pharmacist
Faiza is our newest pharmacist, who joined the Las Colinas Pharmacy team in 2024 after relocating from Toronto, Canada, where she practiced as a pharmacist for over a decade. She received her pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto in 2012 and has worked extensively in community pharmacy, including seven years as a pharmacy owner and manager.
After moving to Texas, Faiza transitioned her focus to compounding pharmacy, an area she had been wanting to explore more deeply. Within her first year, she obtained her Texas pharmacist license and completed both CORE Compounding and Sterile Compounding Training through PCCA. She is certified in immunization administration and will continue to advance her training to specialize further in customized therapies. She is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding. Faiza is passionate about individualized patient care, with special interests in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and functional medicine.
Outside of work, Faiza enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two children. She has visited 13 countries, several Canadian provinces, and many U.S. states, and values the time she shares with her family and friends.
Compounding Pharmacist, Chiropractor, Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. David Bonfessuto is a Compounding Pharmacist, Chiropractor, and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience.
Dr. Bonfessuto founded Balance Health & Hormones. There he concentrates on Bio-Identical Hormones, Weight Loss, Thyroid Dysfunction, and Adrenal Fatigue.
Dr. Bonfessuto has a strong commitment to providing evidence-based bio-identical hormone therapy through a patient-centered holistic approach. When defining the best treatment plan for each patient, he takes into consideration patient age, overall health, blood work, and current issues they may be experiencing. He also factors in the patient’s lifestyle such as: exercise, diet/nutrition, supplementation, personal expectations and goals. This comprehensive approach allows for the patient to feel and look their best while achieving optimal health.
Regulatory Compliance Officer, Provider Relations
Stacy has over 39 years of experience in pharmacy, as our Regulatory Compliance Officer and lead for Provider Relations, she helps ensure that every medication dispensed meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and care. Stacy was honored as the 2024 PCCA Pharmacy Technician of the year, the first-ever recipient of this national recognition. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC) and is the past President of the Pharmacy Compounding Foundation Board, where she has championed technician education and quality standards across the country. Stacy is also a Fellow of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, one of only a handful of technicians in the U.S. to receive this distinction. Her passion extends beyond the lab as she is a frequent voice on Capitol Hill, actively advocating for patients’ and practitioners’ rights to access customized compounded medications.
When she’s not working, Stacy enjoys traveling to the top beaches in the world, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, DIY home projects, healthy cooking, and spending time with her two grandkids.
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Libby joined the pharmacy team in 2022. She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician and seasoned healthcare professional with a passion for veterinary innovation, personalized medicine, and patient access advocacy. As a Business Development and Provider Relations team member at Las Colinas Compounding & Wellness, Libby has helped expand access to specialized treatments, most notably bringing GS-441524 — a breakthrough compound for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) — into the pharmacy’s portfolio. With deep experience supporting both human and veterinary practitioners, Libby regularly educates prescribers on anti-aging therapies, sexual wellness compounds, and customized medications for complex or underserved patient needs. She is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and advocates on Capitol Hill to protect the future of individualized medicine. Libby has personally fostered over 200 medically complex cats and kittens through her leadership in nonprofit rescue work, and she helped design Dallas-Fort Worth’s first adoptable cat café. Her mission is to improve lives—both animal and human—through innovation, education, and access.
She is from Iowa but grew up in Central Florida and even worked at Walt Disney World! She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from USF, worked for Eli Lilly as a pharmaceutical rep in Diabetes care, and both of her daughters were born in Florida before moving to Dallas in 2014.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two teenage daughters, her significant other, Travis, and his daughter. She loves all animals, including her rescue fur babies, any Veteran or animal-related charity work, traveling, movies, and food!
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Joshua joined Las Colinas Pharmacy in 2021. He is a certified Pharmacy technician licensed through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. He attended the University of North Texas and earned his BA in Marketing Analytics.
While starting out in the capsule lab at the pharmacy, he is now the newest marketer on the team. He is studying to specialize in male hormones and hair treatment.
Joshua lives in The Colony, and while not at work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Holistic Functional Nutritionist
Amanda joined the pharmacy team in 2024. She is an evidence-based Holistic Functional Nutritionist and believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the proper tools. Amanda is well-versed in nutraceuticals, herbs, and natural supplementation. She has also studied Sports Medicine as a certified personal trainer and is a registered yoga instructor. Amanda’s approach is multi-faceted and personalized, helping uncover root causation that includes categories such as environmental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and nutritional. Her goal is to identify the burdens, then remove, replace, and rebuild the terrain.
Amanda was previously afflicted with an aggressive cancer diagnosis, and after a short bout with allopathic medicine, she courageously stopped all treatment and walked in faith and immersed herself in research and holistic healing modalities, with great success! Not only did she have a radical remission from the late-stage, rare, and aggressive cancer, she also healed herself of Lupus, Raynaud’s, and Connective Tissue Disease. She attributes the good Lord’s directives in helping her to accomplish complete healing, mind-body and soul. She has now made it her life’s mission to share this vital information with the masses.
Amanda also comes to Las Colinas Pharmacy as a proud mother to a Doctor of Chiropractic with a Master’s in Neuroscience, as they share their love for natural healing. Amanda also loves to spend time outdoors, at the seaside, camping and hiking, yoga, serving at church, and being in community.
